2639- “Carmona” (”Manitoba”), 1871-1904 -This steamer of 590 tons, and 175 feet long, was built at Thorold, 1871, and plied on Lake Huron and Geogian Bay in connection with the G.T.R. from Sarnia. She was originally the “Manitoba”, of the Beatty line out of Sarnia. Later, with the Cambria, she plied between Owen Sound and Sault Ste Marie for the C.P.R. In 1890 she ran from Toronto to Lorne and Grimsby Parks. In 1893 made daily trips to Rochester, and in 1898 was on Toronto-Thousand island route. Demolished at Port Dalhousie, 1904.
