2631- Frances Smith 1867- “Baltic” 1888-Built at Owen Sound, Ont. 1867, of 833 tons register. She piled between Collingwood and Fort William as one of the “Lake superior Line” or “Pioneer Route”, along with the “Cumberland” and “Chicora”. She was destroyed by fire at Collingwood, Sept. 5th 1895. At that time she was known as the “Baltic”, having been rebuilt and renamed. Peint au trait, 5 X 7” Collection Robertson
